Unite the Union members in Operational Services  at Whitehill service centre working  in  “Safety Critical” roles Consultative Ballot results are back.

Members were asked  if they would  accept or reject the West Lothian Council random drug testing policy in its current form  where only safety critical roles would be subject to random drug & alcohol testing.

100%  reject

Unite will meet and consult with our members and agree the nexts steps which will include looking at moving towards  getting authorisation  to hold formal  postal IA ballot, if members have any questions for Unite please contact your Unite local reps.
