“Unite the union in West  Lothian Council reps and our members fully supporting the 5th West Lothian Pride event with a stall on-site in the pride village in the grounds of West Lothian College, marching and donating monies to Maggie Archibald for West Lothian pride.

Unite champions equality in the workplace and in the community and fully supports and backs all members of the LGBT +  community in their fight for equality, justice and end any form of discrimination against  LBGT+ people to have their rights at work and in the community upheld.

I would like to thank on behalf of Unite the organizers, sponsors, artists, supporters and all attendees who have made #WLpride2019 an excellent, inclusive fun-filled celebration.

I look forward to supporting next years event with will be Bigger, Better, Louder and Prouder.”

Lesbian Gay Bisexual And Trans

LGBTLGBT equality in the workplace continues to be hard fought for.

Many LGBT workers face harassment and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

We are raising awareness and campaigning for LGBT equality, and encourage LGBT workers to join and become active in our union.
